From My Heart, To My Best Friend

Dear Best Friend, 

I hope you think about our story as much as I do. I hope you think about all of the moments that have framed our friendship into the bond we share today. I hope you think about all of the moments we laughed until our stomachs hurt, cried until we could not cry anymore, and all of the adventures that we have shared. I hope you think about us because I do.
 While I may not know where our story began, I do know that I am not ready for it to end. These many years that we have spent together have been full of joy, laughter, and many, many unforgettable moments. You have been the constant beam of light that I have needed to get me through the dark periods of my life and to make my bright moments shine a little brighter. 
I am beyond thankful that God saw you fit to be my best friend. Even though our story has not been the most magical (we've had fights, drifted apart, etc.), I always knew that I could come to you because that is the type of person you are. You are so kind, genuine, and merciful. You never give up on someone and that is what makes you so special. Thank you for always being there for me! For that I am forever grateful.
